FAQ

Which URL should I call?

The api_url received at the end of the authorization flow for the license the user selected. Each license has its own API URL: store it with the connection and never hard-code it.

My refresh token no longer works.

Refresh tokens are single-use: each refresh returns a new refresh token that replaces the previous one. Also check that you call the token endpoint of the right api_url. If the user revoked access or uninstalled your integration, they must authorize it again. See Token lifecycle.

I updated an invoice and can't find it with its Id anymore.

Updating an invoice or an operation generates a new book entry. Use the Id returned by the .update call.

My invoice is rejected because it is unbalanced.

Check that TotalAmount = BaseAmount + TaxAmount and that the lines add up to the invoice's base and tax amounts. See Posting sales & purchase invoices.

The token exchange fails.

Check that the code was exchanged within 2 minutes, that grant_type is auth_code, that redirect_uri is exactly the value used in the authorization request, and that the request was sent to the license's api_url, not to my-horus.com.

Can I test the API without building a callback page?

Yes. See Testing the API.

Can I get related entities without extra calls?

Yes, on some endpoints, with sideloading.

I need an endpoint or a filter that doesn't exist.
